Mini classes go from 55 minutes to 2.5 hours. These classes allow for students to receive topic focused training of their choice instead of attending a full class.

A newly-issued Concealed Carry License has a five-year expiration date.
The fees are (non-refundable per 430 ILCS 66/60) $150 for Illinois residents and $300 for out-of-state residents. The ISP uses Illinois ePay. Illinois ePay applies a 2.25% service fee, or a minimum of $1.00 for credit/debit cards. Electronic checks are accepted. Cash, paper checkes, or money orders are not accepted.
Upon receipt of a completed application, including the fee, the ISP issues or denies the applicant an Illinois Concealed Carry License within 90 days, provided the applicant submits a full set of fingerprints in electronic format. If fingerprints are not submitted, the ISP is granted an additional 30 days to complete a manual background check.

While it is important to train with the firearm you intend to carry, we can provide a firearm for our courses if needed.
Participants must be at least 18 years old to participate in our training courses. However, we offer youth training programs for children between the ages of 12 and 17 with parental consent.
Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded. Students will only be allowed to reschedule once. No refund will be provided after attending class.
Yes, students should have a valid Firearm Owners Identification card or FOID in progress status with the Illinois State Police before attending a concealed carry class.
In most circumstances, yes. However, if you renew your CCL after its expiration date, your card will be invalid while your application is being processed.
